A space built by and for young people
The Children and Youth Pavilion is a fully youth-led initiative dedicated to provide a space for children and youth at the UN Climate Change Conference. It brings together youth advocates, organisations, decision-makers and allies from around the world.
Through conversations, workshops, performances and creative formats, the Pavilion makes young perspectives visible and creates opportunities for meaningful participation in global climate action.

The Children and Youth Pavilion is a dedicated, youth-led space at the UN Climate Change Conference. It brings children and young people together with organisations, experts and decision-makers to exchange ideas, share experiences and contribute to global climate action.
First established at COP27, the Pavilion gives young voices a visible and meaningful place within the official conference space.

The Pavilion hosts discussions, workshops, policy dialogues, performances and other creative formats led by children, young people and partner organisations.
It is a place to speak, connect and act: to share perspectives, learn from one another, form partnerships and develop ideas for a fairer climate future.

The Pavilion is shaped by a global Steering Committee made up of youth-led organisations and supported by institutional and funding partners.
Youth representatives lead the planning, programming and decision-making, while partners contribute expertise, resources and practical support.

There are different ways to become part of the Pavilion—from attending sessions and contributing to the programme to supporting the project as an organisation or partner.

Safeguarding measures, trained team members and clear procedures help protect children and young participants throughout the Pavilion and its activities.
